Lesson 12
يَتَنَاوَلُ هَذَا الدَّرْسُ الْمَفْعُولَ فِيهِ (ظَرْفَ الزَّمَانِ وَالْمَكَانِ)، وَحُكْمَ (قَبْلُ وَبَعْدُ)، وَ(لَوْ) الشَّرْطِيَّةَ.
This lesson deals with the adverb of time or place (Maf’ūl Fīhi), the rule of قَبْلُ and بَعْدُ, and the hypothetical conditional particle لَوْ.
اسْمٌ مَنْصُوبٌ يَتَضَمَّنُ مَعْنَى (فِي).
An accusative noun that implies the meaning of "in" (فِي).
تُبْنَيَانِ عَلَى الضَّمِّ إِذَا حُذِفَ الْمُضَافُ إِلَيْهِ وَنُوِيَ مَعْنَاهُ.
They are declinable, but become indeclinable on a Damma if the annexed noun (مضاف إليه) is omitted but its meaning is still intended.
حَرْفُ امْتِنَاعٍ لِامْتِنَاعٍ، تَدْخُلُ عَلَى فِعْلِ الشَّرْطِ الْمَاضِي، وَيَقْتَرِنُ جَوَابُهَا بِاللَّامِ غَالِبًا.
A particle of "prevention for prevention," used for hypothetical past conditions. Its answer often takes a لَـ.
